Healthcare clinicians are facing unprecedented challenges which affect their well-being and professional fulfillment. Burnout has reached epidemic levels and thus, it is critical that we create meaningful interventions to reduce the stress in our profession. Furthermore, we believe it is our responsibility to move beyond simply addressing burnout and to create healthcare environments that allow our clinicians to thrive in their working environments. We are interprofessional collaborative partners committed to improving the lives of our colleagues and the populations we care for. This workshop will begin with a brief introduction to the gold-standard Professional Fulfillment Model and explore its three domains: Culture of Wellness, Efficiency of Practice, and Personal Resilience. A summary of the evidence-based interventions to improve well-being will be reviewed. Next, the audience will break into small group sections (3-5 participants each) and choose one of the three domains to explore. Each group will work together to plan out an intervention they could implement in their home institution, receiving guidance and support from our content experts and using a strategic planning tool the workshop leaders have developed. Once these proposals are complete, each group will have the opportunity to share their proposal with the larger group and receive feedback. To conclude, we will review standard evaluation metrics used in the well-being literature, and provide time for Q&A with the panel experts. Participants will leave with a packet that includes strategic planning tools, sample mission and vision statements, suggested success metrics, and key evidence-based references.
