G-SPAN is an interdisciplinary group of representatives from each of the PAS partners, affiliates and alliances coming together to support global health programming at PAS. The aim of G-SPAN is to strengthen PAS by incorporating innovative, state-of-the-art GH programming; augmenting professional enrichment opportunities for globally-minded pediatricians, subspecialists, and research scientists; and increasing networking among North American and international conference participants.
The vision is the PAS Meeting as a premier venue for disseminating state-of-the-art global child health scholarship, engaging with global health luminaries from organizations driving global child health policies and research priorities, and enhancing the career development of pediatric researchers and academicians around the world, especially those working in settings where resources, infrastructure professional enrichment opportunities are limited.
