Advocating for LGBTQ+ Youth: Social and political factors continue to affect the health and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) youth. From anti-trans legislation to limited access to appropriate care, the LGBTQ youth we have the privilege to care for continue to be marginalized. While we have the power to change that, many of us often feel lost and poorly trained to advocate for change outside of the exam room. Our session, led by national experts, those affected by real-world experiences, and leaders of advocacy projects, will help you become a more confident advocate for LGBTQ youth.
