Long Haul Covid - Ben Z Katz, MD, Professor of Pediatrics, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine; an expert in post-viral fatigue who has led and continues to lead NIH-funded research in this area and as part of an international consortium has written about long haul covid vis a vis chronic fatigue syndrome following infectious mononucleosis (Long covid and post-infective fatigue syndrome - a review; Open Forum Infectious Disease, in press).
2. Post-covid Cardiomyopathy - Michael Carr, MD, Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr Carr has drafted national guidelines on this topic.
