Interested in Group Care (well care, obesity, ADHD, mental health and more)?
Come join the Group Care SIG.
This year we’ll focus on 2 major topics based on what we’ve all been going through - the pandemic. After getting to know each other a bit, we’ll break into small groups (with followup report-out) to discuss:
Group visits during a historic global pandemic
--What have been the challenges to going virtual?
--What were the successes and lessons learned?
What does the group visit look like going forward?
--How do we get back to in-person, live groups again
--How do you, essentially, start from zero? (recruitment)
--Is there a role for virtual combined with in person?
As a larger group, we’ll then discuss sequelae of the pandemic (e.g., obesity, mental health) and how we can harness the group model to address these within our settings.
