We are pleased to announce plans for a special session that features the combination of 2 well-established programs of the annual PAS meeting: the Neonatal Hemodynamics Club and the Lung Club. Over the years, these special interest group sessions have provided outstanding presentations on cardiopulmonary disorders from outstanding leaders from Neonatology, Pulmonology, Cardiology and related fields. This year, these sessions have been combined due to overlapping themes that focus on hemodynamic features of congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) and physiologic assessments of heart-lung interactions in critically ill newborns.
Target Audience: Neonatologists and Neonatal trainees, cardiologists, pediatric intensivists and obstetricians involved in the care of the newborn. Topics this year are of special interest to pediatric pulmonologists and neurologists. Translational and clinical researchers interested in developmental cardiovascular physiology and the role and assessment of transitional hemodynamics in cardiac function and other organ injury in term and preterm neonates.
