As pediatricians, it is our job and our moral obligation to bring attention to how the climate crisis is affecting children. But is that enough? Many pediatricians believe that we should do more than that. This session will highlight practical actions that you can take to implement changes in the medical school curriculum, to incorporate climate discussions into clinical encounters, and to work toward green hospitals and clinics. We also will discuss ways to encourage professional organizations to reduce the carbon emissions associated with professional meetings.
